About TheWay Help

We want anyone facing a hard moment, starting with an unexpected pregnancy, to have honest information and real help close to home.

Who we are

TheWay Help is run by TheWay, a church in Big Rapids, Michigan. We believe every pregnancy matters and every woman facing one deserves care, not judgment. Many of the centers we list are run by churches or Christian charities.

What we do

• Explain, in plain language, how pregnancy develops and what each type of abortion involves, with sources for every medical fact.
• List free local pregnancy centers that help people continue a pregnancy, with tests, ultrasounds, baby items, financial help and adoption information.

What we don't do

We don't provide abortions, refer for them or list abortion providers. We aren't a medical clinic, and nothing here replaces care from a doctor, nurse or midwife. If you're in pain, bleeding heavily or have a fever, get medical care right away.

How we choose centers

We check each center's own website and contact details before listing it, and we review listings regularly. We list centers that offer their help free. If a listing is out of date, or you know a center we should list, call or text us at 231-279-1900.

How we handle medical information

Medical facts on this site come from mainstream sources such as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the U.S. National Library of Medicine (MedlinePlus), the CDC and the FDA, plus peer-reviewed research. Where experts disagree, we say so and show each side. See our sources page.
